Fading Parallax · 一瞬（ひと目）an instant — one glance
自作の「複眼レンズ」を使っています。私の目の動きや視力をそのまま再現しつつ、わざと視差が大きくなるように作りました。
The work uses a handmade “compound-eye lens.” It reproduces the movement and eyesight of my own eyes, but is built to make the parallax deliberately large.

使っているのは、スキャナーの仕組みを応用した自作の「スキャナカメラ」です。ふつうのカメラが一瞬で全体を写すのに対し、このカメラは像を一列ずつ読み取ります。
The work uses a handmade “scanner camera” based on the mechanism of a flatbed scanner. Where an ordinary camera captures the whole frame at once, this one reads the image line by line.
Re:sonance · 1〜3分1 – 3 min
市販のスキャナーの回路をあえて改造する「サーキットベンディング」という手法を使っています。
The scanner is modified using “circuit bending” — deliberately rewiring the circuits of an off-the-shelf device.
Chronograph · 1分／1時間／12時間（作品ごと）1 min / 1 hr / 12 hr (per piece)
タイムラプス映像をもとに、円の中心から伸びる一本の線（スリット）を時計の針のように回しながら、映像のそれぞれの瞬間をつなぎ合わせています。円をひと回りするあいだに、映像の時間が一枚の中に記録されます。
Starting from time-lapse footage, a single line (slit) extending from the center of the circle is rotated like a clock hand, stitching together each moment of the footage. In one turn of the circle, the time of the footage is recorded in a single image.
往相図 · 数日〜1ヶ月a few days – 1 month
スリットスキャンは、画像を細い線（スリット）ごとに、時間をずらしながら記録していく手法です。本作では、この処理をソフトウェアで行っています。
Slit-scan records an image one thin line (slit) at a time, shifting the moment of capture for each line. In this work, the process is done in software.
Ancestral Recall · ?〜100年? – 100 years
祖父が1950年代から撮りためてきた写真が、この作品の「装置」です。その写真が行き先と視点を決め、私は同じ場所で自分のカメラを構えます。
The “device” in this work is the archive of photographs my grandfather took from the 1950s on. His pictures decide where I go and where I stand; I bring my own camera to the same spot.
